ABOUT JENNY KEFAUVER, FOUNDER & PRESIDENT, JK PUBLIC RELATIONS
Jenny Kefauver has over 10 years of public relations, political, and public affairs experience. Born and raised in Northern California, Jenny graduated from the University of California at Santa Cruz, where she honed her political skills as a campus activist and editor for an alternative campus publication. While a student, Jenny worked and interned on a number of political campaigns ranging from city council, sheriff, state legislature, Congress, and Senate, and served as a regional representative for the state College Republicans. She also co-hosted a local radio program. After Republicans gained control of the House and Senate, Jenny re-located to pursue new career opportunities in the nation's capitol.
Jenny has worked as an assistant producer at a major national cable network, on Capitol Hill, and for two DC-based public relations firms. She has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety accounts including a presidential campaign; book promotion for numerous high-profile authors; financial trade associations; and other national membership-supported organizations.
Having worked in media, political campaigns, and public relations, Jenny has been on both sides of the opinion-making process. She lives in the Fredericksburg area with her family.
